I experienced the same issue on SteamVR beta 2.8.5 today (with a Valve index)

Confirming this happens to me too, not only when the dashboard opens, but also e.g. in Synth Riders when switching songs, or loading a song. Just for a short moment, fixes itself after a second. Yet it's nausea inducing as it shifts eye focus.

Starting 26.10.2024 version 2.7.4 is unavailable to get without a password for SteamVR branch 2.7.4. @kisak-valve I'd like to request a password for that branch so I could use it in order not to vomit every time I use SteamVR. Thanks in advance!
