Start the SegaCD game Thunder Storm FX (Japan).
You will press start at the bios load. Using Genplus-gx

99% of the time, it will softlock.
However, if you press Start on the 209th frame exactly, the game will load correctly.

Tested on 2.9.1

I tried to repro on RetroArch, and the game fails to load at all.

I tried reproducing on both 2.9.1 and latest master and cannot. Maybe this is rom/bios dependent?
