The git_shortlog/3 is documented about dozen times here at swi-prolog.org The actual source code is okay.

Tested with Firefox and Edge from Windows 10

It is a known bug. Seems to happen at some rather arbitrary pages just about every release, but typically different pages. I didn't try really hard and I haven't found the cause so far.

@JanWielemaker I've added the "help wanted" tag. Maybe somebody in SWI community can check it out at some point.
