Hi. I have tried many combinations of averaging formulas (both MovAvg and TimeAavg) in several projects, but have found the formulaas do not work when used on more than one input channel (2 or more).
When 2 or more input channels are set to calculate averages in the same project, for independent *(non-related) devices and signals, the channels start behaving like they are correlated, showinmg periodic interruptions (zeroes) at the same time.
Also, the scaale of the measures is changed inexplicably, showing much lower o higher than nominal levels for a given signal.
It´s like the formulas for different channels were sharing the same adding arrays and data and the functions simply merge together some of the data.

The formulas use separate bulk of data for each input channel.
Side effects are possible in case of using Rapid Gate module that sends data from a remote server to the main server.
We are going to provide a friendly solution for averaging in Rapid SCADA 6.
Actually this project doesn't make use of RapidGate, but the signals seem to interfere with each other, anyway.
Eagerly awaiting v6, though. Most of our projects do include RapidGate and averaging in Scada is a must when the instrumentation is not available via PLC, but from simpler analogue signal hubs.
Rapid Gate for version 6 is now under development. It contains special parameters to send data from a remote server to a main server as is, with disabled calculations on the main server.
