I have an idea to make that the vscode app contains:

<iframe width="(input here the window width)" height="(input here the window height)" src="https://www.vscode.dev"></iframe>.

Just to clarify the www.vscode.dev is an official vscode online replacement.

I had the same idea so I opened a PR for the code.
Hopefully it gets merged 🙏
