Adding a trait for swelling flower/inflorescence/floral structure buds makes sense.

However, I have no idea about immature vs. mature unopened flowers! I don't think I have come across a species in my part of the world that takes more than a few months between bud formation and flower opening, but I'd love to learn more about the concept!
