Disable weapon switching with the scroll wheel

Is there any way to disable weapon switching with the scroll wheel? I tried this mod but it doesn't work.

Do I really need a reason to want to change/remove bindings?

In any case, if you've never used a Logitech G mouse you might not understand what I'm talking about: weapon switching tends to happen at inconvenient times when the scroll wheel isn't locked.

This behaviour is hardcored in the engine and isn't configurable. Making it so is a good idea!
