  • To display a plot of some piece of information about the image. Eg :- this can be a plot of mean intensity per column vs column number.

Isn't this just a 1-D plot? Can you expand what exactly you mean a bit more? Using @ericdill 's issue template is useful.

Also, I believe that this problem is handled by taking a slice through a numpy.ndarray and throwing it at the Stack1DMainWindow in NSLS-II/vistools
