Moderators of Lemmy communities who operate out of an Mbin instance do not have the Magazine Panel display, which leads to moderation actions. I am unsure if this is intentional or a bug.

please use the provided templates for creating issues.

As for your problem, please elaborate on
your problem. I don't exactly understand what your problem is

I apologize. I have submitted other issues without use of the template and wasn't talked to about it, so I assumed I was providing all the information that was needed and that it was fine.

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
Mbin users who are moderators of communities on Mbin can navigate to the magazine they moderate, and see this: image

When Mbin users who are moderators of communities on Lemmy navigate to the magazine they moderate, they see the magazine sidebar information as if they did not moderate it, with the exception of their own username appearing in the moderator list. In other words, there is no Magazine Panel button.

Describe the solution you'd like
Allow Mbin moderators of Lemmy communities to have a Magazine Panel button on the sidebar of their magazine too, so they might access moderation options.

Describe alternatives you've considered
If this is not possible, make it clear that Mbin users cannot successfully moderate Lemmy communities from Mbin, and must get a Lemmy account.

Are you sure that that the problem is with remote magazines hosted on lemmy? I would expect that it is a problem with remote magazines in general...

You should still be able to moderate singular posts right? So this menu still works right?

Not sure if it's remote magazines in general, just reporting the things I or others have talked about… However, it would feel wrong making an account on another instance and an empty community on it that I moderate just to test this. Singular posts can indeed be moderated. However, the sidebar can't be edited, logos cannot be changed, new mods cannot be appointed, and reports cannot be dealt with at all.

Ok, got it. I think this will be a bit of a bigger task, because who can see what in the magazine panel is not exactly useful right now. For example it does not make sense that an admin has full control over a remote magazine, when the changes he makes will not be reflected in that community. I tried to make a prototype of it, but it turned out to be more work then I thought.
