Databinding and Exceptions

We have a Winforms application where data binding has an error on account of an exception thrown by SetPropertyConvert. If we remove this property/textbox from databinding, where should we handle this exception? Before setting the property on our object?

Fellow developers,
One solution is to add an event in the form constructor, something like this

    this.txtSample.DataBindings["Text"].Parse += new ConvertEventHandler(txtSample_Parse);

you can then implement logic in the event handler to avoid runtime exceptions.
