It would be useful if there were a simple CLI from where you could execute the two functions apiDump and apiCheck. The CLI should be independent of Gradle or any particular build system, and just read input from a directory of .class files or a .jar file you specify.

Providing a "standalone" BCV API suitable for integration with build systems other than Gradle (as well as for providing a CLI) will be considered as part of #223.
