Right now, when using OPDS, the info sent over is scraped from the file itself, this is fine for books for example but when talking about individual chapters of manga, this doesn't work. For example, when talking about summaries of individual chapters. you will find that the majority of sites that track this kind of stuff, don't contain info for individual chapters, see MAL, kitsu, mangaupdates, etc, they all just contain info of the series, the only site that I can think right now that tracks individual publications, is comicvine and they only do this for Volumes, not individual chapters. This is doubly true if the manga series is being translated and doesn't have an official translation.
I think that for cases like this (which is most cases), the OPDS should use the data from the series itself, not individual chapters, besides this is for OPDS, not many manga readers use opds for their manga. I'm thinking this from a perspective of someone using a e-ink reader from a closed environment where the only info that matters for a cbz is the one that is on the filename, so using the series data for author-series name- and number should be the only thing that matters,
