I am not familiar with decompounding task, is there any example to demonstrate this task just to understand what it means? (Or if this feature already exists in other library, an example of that could also help) |

Hi,
I'm new to sparkNLP and I could not find any functionality for decompounding in German. Is there anything planned?
In the meantime I wonder if it possible to create a custom pipeline step for decompounding, something like this:
I did some experimentation with creating my own Decompounder (an extension of AnnotatorModel) but I am stuck on how to handle multiple compounds for a single token.
Feedback is most welcome.
Bye,
Daniel
