Hi Contributors, First open source message

Hi Team,

I'm learning to use github properly for this, the most important open source project known to me. I believe we should discuss openly all of the going ons and plans for the tasks and innovations ahead through this discussions feature. So I will dump a few of my initial thoughts as to what we need to do first here.

• Firstly, we need to get the structure of this project in a reasonable shape, that is we should start by getting the license (MIT) and docs markdown in place and ready for development.
• We should also get in the habit of every PR being correlated to an issue created.
• I will be trying to adhere to the good practices of developing this project true open source excellence, so please guide me on that path insofar as you can bring good habits to our process. I'm a bit of a noob and am excited to learn how to do things well.
• We need to document our approach and guidelines to making contributions as we figure it out. This will be a fluid thing as we learn and grow, but it's important that we document our practices as we go.
• We should share freely and openly through this discussions feature so any and everyone can see the process of decision making, we shouldn't have anything mysterious in how we operate.
• Our mission is to create something that is maximally useful, AND maximally beautiful. You know how I do, elegance is king.
