Expected Behavior

Let the user see all inherited service objects from a template

Current Behavior

Giving a user a restriction on a specific host group, limits the access to see other hosts.
The User can create or edit individual services for these hosts
The User can not see any template inherited services or service sets so the user can not override some vars.
The User can clone a object with override vars-> these vars are visible in the preview

Possible Solution

Steps to Reproduce (for bugs)

  • Create template "test-tempalte" that has an indivual service
  • Create group "test"
  • Create host with group "test" with an template "test-tempalte"
  • Create user with group restriction in director for "test"
  • Login as this user
  • see hosts in director
  • see no services for the hosts

Your Environment

  • Director version (System - About): 1.11.1
  • Icinga Web 2 version and modules (System - About): 2.12.2
  • Icinga 2 version (icinga2 --version): 2.14.2
  • Operating System and version: Ubuntu 20.04
  • Webserver, PHP versions: 7.4

Best Regards
Nicolas
