What is the groups opinion on using GitHub discussions?

We can use GitHub discussions to better track the history of information which does not fit into the wiki, using discussions as a sort of replacement for the technical channel we have on teams. It is possible to send discussions created here to teams where we can choose to navigate to discussions for open technical discussions, or stay on teams if the information is more sensitive.

Information placed in GitHub discussions improves accessibility due to to searching functionality included into Discussions.

Using GitHub discussions would be a change from our existing workflow.
