X is hosting Y banner on channels re-appears after closing #792

When you close out the banner it does disappear but once liveview updates(seems chat doesn't cause it since we've isolated that) the banner reappears.

It's not the biggest thing since you can just scroll down a little but I can see some people getting annoyed by it.
