Making backend ready for sunset

As Trace is sunsetting, we must make the backend ready for it. The short solution is disabling any write/update to the backend.
@mohammadranjbarz Do you think replacing db URL connection with a read-only one would be enough? or we must change the backend source code (like forbid write/update related method in general hook)?
