While the vanilla swords all have a speed of 1.6, the electrum sword has a speed of 1.4, ever so slightly slower.

I could see a world where this is intentional, considering that electrum is considerably easier to obtain than netherite. However, if it is, it at least doesn't seem to fit with the theme of electrum being "fast" like the armor set.
