Hello, I am new to the ArcGIS Assistant and I'm trying to make a copy of a web application from a work account to my personal account to show off as an example of my work without worrying about it being changed or deleted later on. I used the Assistant to copy over the data, map, and web app (designed with Experience Builder).
I then copied the new web map ID, edited the JSON of the new application, and did a find and replace to change all references to the official/main map to my copy. However, it looks like the web map copy is still referencing the main data, not the new copies.
I also noticed that the application appears to be working, but if I try to edit it, the layout is there, but the widgets have lost all settings.
First, is there an easy way to change the data sources to the clones? Or do I need to do the find and replace method for all the layers?
Second, do I just need to change the JSON for the web map, or are there any updates I will need to make within the application’s JSON?
Thank you!
Josh
