I want to be able to cite the GCP in a manuscript or other material and this be a unique and persistent identifier that can be used for all the provenance information and GCSTs associated with the GCP.

AS a submitter/curator I should be able to assign identifiers from other resources e.g. a pre-print server ID or PMID to the GCP when the GCP is assigned one of these.

Searching in the GWAS Catalog by GCP should identify the data associated with the GCP (all data access methods).

UAT

Query interface (https://www.ebi.ac.uk/gwas/)

Associations table

  • Access publication, study, trait, gene, locus page
  • Associations table should include an optional additional column for the "Project accession" (GCP#)

Study page

Downloads

  • Download file
  • All downloads to include a column for the "PROJECT ACCESSION" which should be populated with the relevant GCP#

Enter GCP URL is browser e.g. https://www.ebi.ac.uk/gwas/projects/GCP#

  • This should take you to the project page for the relevant GCP

Summary statistics page (https://www.ebi.ac.uk/gwas/downloads/summary-statistics)

  • Searching either the published or unpublished table for a GCP# should return all studies related to that GCP#
  • The GCP# for each study should be viewable in the table - add a column for the "Project accession"

FTP

  • When I go to the FTP I should be able to access all files relating to a GCP# within a folder identifiable by the GCP#

I think this needs a bit more discussion outside of the ticket. I have started a google doc: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1Ruw_dZSy-L-dDJ5glJHxcVzylpSOiFq6tqkksD7DfqI/edit#
