The mean averaged over several iterations may be an attractive candidate return value on noisy functions. Fitness stagnation could be a good candidate to decide for the time horizon over which to average.

Next step: check whether averaging actually improves the expected solution quality on the Rosenbrock function with additive noise when run with noise handling.
