Is your feature request related to a problem?

I am coming from Nova Launcher, it is a really really cool launcher I've used for many years. And then I've found Niagara. It blew my mind. Has all neat solutions, but one:
Using Nova I could remap the virtual Home Button WHILE AT THE HOME SCREEN to some other function. The reasoning is that if I am at the Home Screen, I do not need the Home Button functionality, therefore I could remap it, to open something or do something else. This was like yet another soft key I could use to do something. If memory serve (long time ago) some adb permission was needed, but it worked flawlessly.

Describe the solution you'd like

Is that possible? It is worth to add it to Niagara? Thanks!
