save() not working #20

I've gotten all the way up to instantiating a person as per the README.md but when it's time to use the save function I get an error which results in "Houston we have a problem." I also tried different schema setups from basic to complex and still the same thing. I'm using the master version of the repository. I am trying to get a full grip on this so I can contribute and get this production ready in a month or so - any help is appreciated.
